Environment Canada has issued a yellow wind warning for several regions across the northern British Columbia Interior. The alert was issued due to a vigorous low-pressure system moving through the area, bringing the risk of damaging winds.

The warning covers the following geographic regions:
- Stuart - Nechako
- Prince George
- McGregor
- Yellowhead
- Chilcotin (specifically near Anahim Lake and Nimpo Lake)
- The Lakes District

The wind event is expected to begin Saturday afternoon. The strong winds will persist overnight and are forecast to ease by Sunday morning.
