This follows a Winter Storm Warning that will be in effect during the initial phase of the storm. Expected Conditions
Total snow accumulations for the event are expected to be between 6 and 10 inches. During the Winter Storm Warning phase, winds are forecast to gust as high as 40 mph with heavy snow and widespread blowing snow. As the Blizzard Warning takes effect, wind gusts are expected to reach up to 50 mph, creating blizzard conditions. Whiteout conditions will make travel extremely dangerous or impossible, and gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
