Blizzard Warning Issued for Price, Bayfield, and Sawyer Counties; Up to 30 Inches of Snow Expected
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for parts of northern Wisconsin, forecasting heavy snow accumulations and wind gusts up to 45 mph starting early Sunday.

A Blizzard Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Duluth, MN. The warning is effective from 1:00 AM CDT Sunday, March 15, through 7:00 AM CDT Monday, March 16.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Price, Bayfield, and Sawyer Counties in Wisconsin. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and the Red Cliff Band. Other affected locations include the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

Expected Conditions
Blizzard conditions are expected throughout the region. Total snow accumulations are forecasted between 15 and 30 inches, with the exception of northern Bayfield County, which is expected to receive between 6 and 15 inches. Winds are expected to gust as high as 45 mph. These conditions will make travel very difficult to impossible and could result in downed tree branches.
