The warning covers the Southern Alaska Peninsula. Specific locations impacted include Cold Bay, False Pass, and Sand Point.

Residents are advised that severe winter weather conditions are occurring or expected. Falling and blowing snow combined with strong winds will create whiteout conditions, making travel very hazardous. If travel is absolutely necessary, ensure you have a winter survival kit in your vehicle. If you become stranded, stay with your vehicle.

- Visibility: Reduced to one-quarter mile or less due to blowing snow.
- Snow Accumulation: Additional accumulation of up to 2 inches.
- Wind: Sustained winds between 40 and 50 mph, with isolated gusts reaching 60 to 70 mph.
- Temperature: Wind chill values are expected to drop between 10 below and 20 below zero.
- Impacts: Strong winds may cause extensive damage to power lines and travel could be very difficult. Conditions may vary greatly over short distances due to the showery nature of the heavy snow.
