The warning covers southeastern Albany County, specifically impacting the Laramie Valley. Key locations include:
- Laramie and West Laramie
- Interstate 80 between mile markers 292 and 335
- Laramie Regional Airport and University of Wyoming War Memorial Stadium
- Communities such as Antelope Buttes, Nine Mile, Rogers Canyon, Tie City Campground, Vedauwoo, Tie Siding, Buford, and Ames Monument.
