The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Flash Flood Warning for portions of southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi. The alert was issued after Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area, with flash flooding either ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

The warning impacts the following regions:
- Southeastern Louisiana: North Central East Feliciana Parish and Northeastern West Feliciana Parish.
- Southern Mississippi: Southwestern Amite County and Southeastern Wilkinson County.
Specific locations that will experience flash flooding include Clinton, Liberty, Centreville, Gloster, Wilson, Norwood, and Felps.

According to radar data, between 2 and 4 inches of rain have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. The primary hazards include flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses, as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
