The warning specifically impacts Tangipahoa Parish in Louisiana. Areas along the Tangipahoa River including Osyka, Kentwood, Tangi, Tickfaw, Amite, and Robert are within the scope of this alert.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is currently occurring and is forecast to continue. As of 2:30 PM CDT on Tuesday, the river stage was recorded at 16.9 feet, which is nearly two feet above the 15.0-foot flood stage.
Specific impacts include:
- At 17.0 feet: Low-lying areas along Highway 22 south of Robert will be submerged.
- Campground Access: Water will approach the entrance of Hidden Oaks Campground. If the river reaches 18 feet, trailers at the campground will be unable to be moved.
Timeline
The Flood Warning is effective until 2:30 PM CDT on Wednesday, March 11. The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue receding to approximately 9.1 feet by Sunday morning.
