The National Weather Service in Anchorage, Alaska, has issued a Heavy Freezing Spray Warning for the coastal waters of Southwest Alaska. This alert is issued in conjunction with a Gale Warning for the region.

The warning covers the maritime area from Nelson Lagoon to Cape Sarichef, extending out to 15 nautical miles. This includes the Alaska Peninsula waters and the Aleutian Islands up to 100 nm out.

- Seas: Wave heights are forecast at 14 feet tonight, 12 feet on Sunday, and 8 feet on Sunday night. Sea forecasts represent an average of the highest one-third of the combined wind wave and swell height.
- Hazards: Heavy freezing spray is expected to persist through the duration of the warning period.
