The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO has issued a High Wind Warning for portions of northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. This alert is issued under the VTEC code /O.NEW.KEAX.HW.W.0001.260315T1400Z-260316T0600Z/. A Wind Advisory will also follow the warning period as conditions begin to subside.

The following counties are included in the warning and advisory area:
- Kansas: Atchison and Doniphan Counties.
- Missouri: Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Holt, and Nodaway Counties.
