- Oscoda
- Alcona
- Roscommon
- Ogemaw
Forecasters note a greater potential for significant freezing rain accumulations from Roscommon to Alpena and Harrisville, including some areas previously impacted by the March 2025 Ice Storm.
Expected Conditions
Residents should prepare for significant icing with ice accumulations between one-tenth and four-tenths of an inch. Total snow and sleet accumulations of up to one inch are also possible. Additionally, east to northeast winds are expected to gust between 25 and 35 mph tonight.
The combination of ice and gusty winds is likely to cause power outages and tree damage. Travel may become nearly impossible, specifically impacting the Wednesday morning commute and potentially lingering into the Wednesday evening commute.
