The National Weather Service in Shreveport LA has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of northwestern Louisiana and eastern Texas. The alert was triggered by radar-indicated severe thunderstorms moving through the region.

The following counties and parishes are under the warning:
- Northwestern Louisiana: Southwestern De Soto Parish and Northwestern Sabine Parish.
- Eastern Texas: Angelina County, Southeastern Nacogdoches County, Northwestern Sabine County, San Augustine County, and Shelby County.
Specific locations impacted include Lufkin, Center, Diboll, Huntington, San Augustine, Tenaha, Pineland, Converse, Macune, Bland Lake, Neuville, Rosevine, Etoile, Martinsville, Melrose, Patroon, Shelbyville, Woden, and Burke.

Residents in the warning area should move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building immediately. These storms may cause serious injury and significant property damage. - Hail: Ping pong ball size hail (1.50 inches) is possible.
- Storm Movement: As of 6:37 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 6 miles southwest of Joaquin to 7 miles south of Diboll, moving southeast at 30 mph.
