The warning covers the following geographic regions in northwestern Mississippi:
- DeSoto County
- Marshall County
- Tate County
- Northwestern Lafayette County
- Eastern Tunica County
- Northern Quitman County
- Northern Panola County
Impacted locations include Southaven, Olive Branch, Horn Lake, Hernando, Senatobia, Holly Springs, Memphis, Sardis, Coldwater, Byhalia, Como, Walls, Crenshaw, Sledge, Lake Cormorant, Strayhorn, Red Banks, and Laws Hill. This also affects Interstate 22 between mile markers 1 and 40, and Interstate 55 between mile markers 252 and 292.
