If you spot a tornado, go at once into a basement or a small central room in a sturdy structure. People and animals outdoors should seek shelter immediately to avoid injury from hail and wind.

Expected Conditions

At 9:35 PM CDT, radar indicated a severe thunderstorm located near Fort Madison, moving east at 30 mph. The following hazards are expected:

• Wind: Gusts up to 60 mph, which may cause damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
• Hail: Ping pong ball size hail (1.50 inches), which can cause damage to vehicles, windows, and roofs.
