The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Arkansas and Louisiana, warning of 60 mph winds and ping pong ball-sized hail.

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for south central and southwestern Arkansas, as well as northwestern Louisiana. The warning was triggered by radar-indicated severe thunderstorms moving southeast at 35 mph.

The following geographic regions are included in the warning area:
- Southwestern Arkansas: Columbia County, southern Lafayette County, and southeastern Nevada County.
- South Central Arkansas: Northwestern Union County.
- Northwestern Louisiana: Northwestern Claiborne Parish and northwestern Webster Parish.
Specific locations impacted include Magnolia, Springhill, Smackover, Waldo, McNeil, Haynesville, Cullen, Bradley, Taylor, Emerson, Buckner, Shongaloo, Willisville, Bluff City, Macedonia, Smithland, Village, Atlanta, and Bussey.

Residents in the warning area should seek shelter immediately inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. People and animals outdoors should move inside to avoid potential injury.
Expected Conditions
- Wind: Gusts up to 60 mph are expected, which may cause damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
- Hail: Ping pong ball size hail (1.50 inches) is possible, which can damage vehicles, windows, and roofs.
- Storm Motion: As of 5:37 PM CDT, the storm line was located from 8 miles south of Bluff City to near Bradley, moving southeast at 35 mph.

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning is effective from 5:37 PM CDT until 6:30 PM CDT on March 15. Additionally, a Tornado Watch remains in effect for portions of Arkansas and northwest Louisiana until 9:00 PM CDT.
