The National Weather Service in Wilmington OH has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of southeastern and east central Indiana, as well as west central and southwestern Ohio. This alert is effective until 12:30 AM EDT on March 16, 2026.
Affected Areas
The following regions are included in the warning area:
- Indiana: Franklin, Ripley, Wayne, Union, Fayette, and Northern Dearborn counties.
- Ohio: Western Preble, Northwestern Butler, and Southwestern Darke counties.
Impacted locations include Richmond, Oxford, Connersville, Harrison, Batesville, Brookville, Centerville, Cambridge City, Bright, Hidden Valley, Liberty, Versailles, Milan, Hagerstown, Union City, New Paris, Osgood, New Madison, Fountain City, and Dublin. This also affects I-70 in Indiana (mile markers 134-156), I-70 in Ohio (mile markers 0-9), and I-74 in Indiana and Ohio.

Radar-indicated severe thunderstorms were located along a line moving northeast at 65 mph. The primary hazard is 60 mph wind gusts. Residents should expect damage to trees and power lines in the affected areas.
