The warning covers the following geographic regions in Indiana:
- Western Carroll County
- Tippecanoe County
- Northwestern Clinton County
- Northern Montgomery County
Specific locations impacted include Lafayette, West Lafayette, Delphi, Flora, Rossville, Shadeland, Dayton, Battle Ground, Mulberry, Waynetown, Linden, Camden, Clarks Hill, New Richmond, Yeoman, and Purdue University. The warning also includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 158 and 180, and Interstate 74 between mile markers 26 and 29.

- Wind: Gusts up to 60 mph are expected. Winds of 50 mph were recently reported at West Lafayette.
- Hail: Radar indicates the potential for hail up to .75 inches.
- Impact: Residents should expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
- Storm Movement: At 9:43 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Delphi, or 11 miles northeast of Lafayette, moving northeast at 55 mph.
