The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of west central and central Georgia. The warning is in effect until 6:30 AM EDT on March 12, 2026.

The warning covers the following geographic regions in Georgia:

- Marion County
- Webster County
- South central Crawford County
- Schley County
- Sumter County
- Southeastern Talbot County
- Taylor County
Specific locations impacted include Americus, Buena Vista, Butler, Ellaville, Oglethorpe, Preston, Reynolds, Plains, Ideal, Andersonville, Junction City, Weston, Sumter, Putnam, Brantley, Seminole, Murrays Crossroads, Whitewater State Park, Croxton Crossroads, and New Era.
