At 6:15 PM CST, a line of strong thunderstorms was located from near Port Lavaca to 12 nautical miles northwest of Rockport, extending to 23 nautical miles west of Riviera Beach. The system is moving south at 30 knots.

Primary hazards include:

• Wind: Gusts of 34 knots or greater.
• Hail: Small hail is possible.
• Water Conditions: Suddenly higher waves and heavy downpours.
• Lightning: Frequent lightning strikes are expected within the storm cells.
