- Kauai Channel

- Kauai Northwest Waters
Specific locations impacted include Makahuena Point, and FAD Buoys KK, CK, PP, AA, and Z.

At 6:44 AM HST, radar indicated severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts. The storms were located along a line extending from 8 nautical miles east of Lehua Rock to 44 nautical miles south of FAD Buoy PP, moving northeast at 15 knots.
Primary Hazards:
- Waterspouts: These can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas.
- Wind: Gusts of 34 knots or greater.
- Waves: Suddenly higher waves that could damage small craft.
