Affected Areas
The warning covers the following geographic regions:
- Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm
- Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 20-60 nm
Impacted locations include Titusville, Port Canaveral, Jetty Park, Lagrange, and Cape Canaveral. At the time of the alert, gusty outflow winds were located along a line extending from 15 nm east of Klondike Beach to near Playalinda Beach to near Titusville.

- Ensure all persons on board are wearing life jackets.
- Return to safe harbor if possible.
- Be prepared for suddenly higher waves and reduced visibility.

Radar indicates gusty outflow winds from showers and isolated lightning storms moving southeast at 40 knots. Hazards include:
- Wind: Gusts in excess of 34 knots, with peaks up to 40 knots.
- Waves: Suddenly higher waves are expected.
- Weather: Lightning and heavy downpours.
Note that gusty winds will arrive well ahead of any precipitation as the strong frontal boundary moves southward.
