The primary area affected is the coastal waters from Cape Spencer to Cape Fairweather out to 15 nautical miles. The broader forecast area includes Southeast Alaska Coastal Waters from Dixon Entrance to Cape Suckling out to 100 nautical miles.

  • Seas: Wave heights of 11 feet tonight will build to 17 feet late. By Thursday, seas are expected to reach peak heights of 25 feet.
  • Precipitation: Rain is forecast to begin late tonight and continue through Thursday night.
