The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Tornado Warning for portions of southeastern Arkansas. This alert is based on radar-indicated rotation within a severe thunderstorm.
Affected Areas
The warning covers the following regions in southeastern Arkansas:
- Central Desha County
- Northeastern Drew County
- South central Lincoln County
Specific locations expected to be impacted include McGehee, Rohwer, Tillar, Winchester, Jersey Point, Omega, Lucca Landing, Kelso, Reed, Florence, Selma, Yukon, and McArthur.

TAKE COVER NOW! Residents in the warning area should move immediately to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter to protect yourself from flying debris. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter, and mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, vehicles, and trees is likely.
Expected Conditions
At 6:38 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Tillar, or approximately 12 miles south of Dumas. The storm is moving east at 40 mph. The primary hazard is a tornado identified via radar-indicated rotation.

The Tornado Warning is effective immediately as of 6:39 PM CDT and is scheduled to expire at 7:15 PM CDT on March 15, 2026.
