The National Weather Service in Mobile AL has issued a Tornado Warning for portions of southeastern Mississippi. This alert is based on radar-indicated rotation from a severe thunderstorm.

The following geographic regions in Mississippi are under the warning:
- George County
- Southeastern Perry County
- Southern Greene County
The storm is expected to be near Lucedale around 11:10 PM CDT.
What You Should Do
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter immediately and protect yourself from flying debris.

- Storm Movement: At 10:57 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 10 miles south of McLain, or 13 miles west of Lucedale, moving east at 40 mph.
