The warning covers the following geographic regions:
- Southwestern Harrison County, MS
- East central Hancock County, MS
- Specific locations in the path include Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Pass Christian, and Long Beach.
- The warning area includes Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 13 and 20.

At 10:59 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and straight-line wind damage were located over Diamondhead, moving east at 25 mph.

- Impact: Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
