The National Weather Service in Memphis TN has issued a Tornado Warning for southeastern Lee County and northern Phillips County in eastern Arkansas. The warning was triggered by a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado.

The warning covers specific regions in eastern Arkansas, including:
- Southeastern Lee County
- Northern Phillips County
Impacted locations include Marvell, Helena-West Helena, St Francis National Park, Lexa, Rondo, Watkins Corner, Lagrange, Jeffersonville, Haleside, Quarles, Wycamp, Latour, Turkey Scratch, Vineyard, Helena Crossing, Cypress Corner, Poplar Grove, Huma, Big Creek Corner, and Barton.

TAKE COVER NOW! Residents in the warning area should move to a storm shelter or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, you must move to the closest substantial shelter immediately to protect yourself from flying debris.
Expected Conditions
At 6:56 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Palmer, or approximately 7 miles west of Marvell, moving east at 40 mph.
Hazards include:
- Tornado (Radar indicated rotation)
- Quarter-size hail (up to 1.00 inch)

- Flying debris will be dangerous to those without shelter.
- Mobile homes are at risk of being damaged or destroyed.
