The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Tornado Warning for south central Muscogee County, southwestern Chattahoochee County, and north central Stewart County in west central Georgia. The alert was issued at 4:51 AM EDT after radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado.

The warning impacts the following geographic regions in west central Georgia:
- South central Muscogee County
- Southwestern Chattahoochee County
- North central Stewart County
Specific locations expected to be impacted include Fort Benning/Lawson Army Air Fld, Sand Hill, Custer Road Terrace, Jamestown/South Fort Benning, Battle Park, Benning Hills, Benning Park, and Carter Acres.

Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur, and tree damage is likely.
Expected Conditions
At 4:51 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Seale, or 12 miles east of Hurtsboro, moving east at 30 mph. The primary hazard is a tornado identified via radar-indicated rotation. Maximum hail size is expected to be up to .75 inches.

The Tornado Warning is effective immediately and will remain in place until 5:30 AM EDT on March 12, 2026.
