The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Eastern Lake Ontario Region. The warning is officially in effect from 11:00 AM EDT Friday, March 13, through 2:00 PM EDT Saturday, March 14.
Affected Areas
The alert covers Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis counties. The most significant snow accumulations are expected across the Tug Hill plateau and the western foothills of the Adirondacks. Lower elevations in the North Country, including the Watertown Metro area, are forecast to receive between 2 and 4 inches of snow.

- Hazardous Impacts: Beyond travel disruptions, gusty winds are expected to down tree branches and may lead to isolated power outages.
