Total snow accumulations are forecast between 3 and 6 inches for areas below 8,500 feet, while peaks and higher west-facing slopes could see up to 11 inches. Winds are expected to gust as high as 45 mph, creating patches of blowing snow and significantly reduced visibility. These gusty winds could also bring down tree branches.
