Affected Areas
Localised flooding is currently occurring across the Pioneer River catchment. Specific geographic areas experiencing minor flooding include:
- Cattle Creek at Finch Hatton and Gargett
- Pioneer River at Mirani Township
River level rises have also been noted in the upper part of the catchment, with rising levels observed at Mirani Weir, Hospital Bridge, and Mackay.

- Cattle Creek at Finch Hatton: 2.75 m (Falling)
