The river is expected to fall below the minor flood level of 5.00 meters starting late Friday morning. While showers are forecast over the weekend, they are currently unlikely to contribute to significant riverine flows. Other local gauges, including Mimdale (9.01 m) and Euleilah Creek (1.53 m), also show falling water levels.
