The Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued a Minor Flood Warning (IDQ20770) for the Burnett River, including the Boyne River at Dunollie and the Burnett River downstream of Paradise Dam. This is the 22nd warning issued for this event.

The warning specifically covers the following regions in Queensland:
- Boyne River at Dunollie
- Burnett River at Walla
- Burnett River downstream of Paradise Dam
- Stuart and Boyne Rivers

Residents and travelers in the affected areas are urged to exercise extreme caution.
- Do not drive, walk, swim, or play in floodwater as it is dangerous.
- Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams, and all waterways.
- Obey all road closure signs and plan routes to avoid flooded areas.
- Monitor the ABC and local media for further updates.

Expected Conditions
- Boyne River at Dunollie: Currently recorded at 3.00 meters and falling. Minor flooding is ongoing as the level remains above the 2.50-meter minor flood threshold.
- Burnett River at Walla: Currently recorded at 5.31 meters and falling. This level is now below the minor flood level of 6.00 meters and is expected to remain below this threshold.
- Other Observations: River levels are generally steady or falling across the catchment, including Three Moon Creek at Abercorn (3.17 m) and Barambah Creek at Stonelands (4.63 m).
Timeline
Minor flooding is expected to persist at Dunollie through the remainder of Monday and into Tuesday, March 17. The Bureau of Meteorology expects to issue the next update by 12:00 PM AEST on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
