Minor flooding is currently occurring at Noonkanbah, where the river level was recorded at 11.02 meters and steady as of Thursday morning. A minor flood peak is expected there on Thursday afternoon, with levels likely to remain above the 9.50-meter minor flood threshold through Friday.
At Willare Crossing, the river is currently at 7.08 meters and rising. It is forecast to reach the minor flood level of 8.00 meters during Saturday.
While flooding has eased at Fitzroy Crossing (currently at 8.74 meters and falling), further rainfall is forecast across the catchment over the next few days, which may lead to renewed river level rises.
