The primary areas affected include the Katherine River Gorge Road and the Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre in the Northern Territory. Current observations also include river height monitoring at Birdie Creek, Seventeen Mile Creek, and Katherine Bridge.

As of 9:31 am ACST Tuesday, the river at Nitmiluk Centre was recorded at 2.77 meters and rising. It is expected to exceed the minor flood level of 3.00 meters on Tuesday afternoon.
