Affected Areas
The warning specifically impacts the Tully River catchment in Queensland, with particular focus on the Tully River at Euramo. Other monitored locations in the region include Tully Gorge, Clump Point, Cardwell, and the Murray River at Upper Murray.

Expected Conditions
Moderate to heavy rainfall recorded since Friday afternoon has led to rising river levels across the Tully catchment. As of 2:10 pm Saturday, the Tully River at Euramo was measured at 3.45 meters and rising. With further rainfall forecast through the remainder of Saturday and into Sunday, the river is expected to exceed the minor flood level of 6.00 meters on Sunday morning. Current projections suggest the river may reach approximately 7.00 meters by Sunday afternoon. Further rises are possible if heavy rainfall persists.

The alert is effective immediately following the Saturday afternoon issuance. Minor flooding is anticipated to begin Sunday morning, 15 March 2026, and persist through the afternoon. The Bureau of Meteorology expects to issue the next update by 2:00 pm AEST on Sunday.
