The warning specifically concerns the Tully River catchment, with potential impacts centered on the Tully River at Euramo. A broader Flood Watch remains in effect for parts of the Cape York Peninsula and the North Tropical Coast of Queensland.

Other recorded river heights include 1.51 meters at Tully Gorge and 3.05 meters at Murray River at Upper Murray.
