Affected Areas
The warning covers several key locations in Queensland, including:
- Charleys Creek: Chinchilla and upstream at Burncluith Bridge.
- Condamine River: Condamine Township, Chinchilla Weir TW, and the river stretch downstream of Oakey Creek to Cotswold.

Residents are advised not to drive, walk, swim, or play in floodwater as it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams, and waterways. - Cotswold: Major flooding is currently occurring with the river height recorded at 11.09 m and steady.
- Condamine Township: Moderate flooding is easing. The river peaked at 8.10 m Friday morning and was recorded at 7.85 m and falling as of Friday night.
- Charleys Creek at Chinchilla: Moderate flooding is occurring at 5.21 m and falling. It is expected to fall below the moderate flood level (5.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday.
- Chinchilla Weir TW: The river is at 5.69 m and falling, which is below the minor flood level of 6.00 m.
- Rainfall: No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
