Wagner Spray Tech Corporation has recalled approximately 708,000 power steamers after reports of overheating hoses and unexpected hot water expulsion resulting in dozens of burn injuries.
What Happened
Wagner Spray Tech Corporation has issued a recall for its 900 Series Power Steamers because the attached hose can become excessively hot during use. Additionally, the nozzle may expel hot water while in use or after the trigger is engaged, posing a significant burn hazard to consumers.
As of March 13, 2026, the company has received 156 reports of incidents in the United States, including 50 reported burn injuries to the arms, hands, feet, and face. Some of these injuries resulted in first- or second-degree burns. In Canada, six reports of incidents have been recorded with no reported injuries.
