Forest River Recalls 2025-2026 Entourage Motorhomes Over Incorrect Seating Capacity Labels

Vehicle Recalls high NHTSA · · United States

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain Entourage motorhomes because incorrect seating capacity labels could lead to vehicle overloading and increased crash risk.

What Happened

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) has initiated a recall for specific motorhomes due to a labeling error that could lead to vehicle overloading. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label on these vehicles may incorrectly state there are seven seat-belted positions when the motorhome actually contains eight. This discrepancy means the vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other than Passenger Cars.”

Which Products Are Affected

The recall affects 2025-2026 Forest River Entourage motorhomes. According to the manufacturer, approximately 36 units are potentially affected, with a total of 72 units listed across the specific model years.

What You Should Do

Owners of the affected vehicles should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8602. To remedy the issue, dealers will remove one of the seat belts free of charge to ensure the vehicle’s capacity matches the safety labels. Forest River’s internal identification number for this recall is 210-2041. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 19, 2026.

Why This Matters

Accurate seating and cargo labels are critical for vehicle safety. An overloaded vehicle can exceed its mechanical limits, which significantly increases the risk of a crash.
