Electrolux Group Recalls Frigidaire Gas Ranges Due to Burn Hazard
Electrolux Group is recalling approximately 174,800 Frigidaire gas ranges following 30 reports of burn injuries caused by delayed ignition in the oven's bake burner.
What Happened
Electrolux Group has issued a recall for several models of Frigidaire gas ranges because the ovens can experience delayed ignition of the bake burner. This defect poses a significant burn hazard to users. To date, the company and the CPSC have received 62 reports of delayed ignition, which include 30 reports of burn injuries.
Which Products Are Affected
This recall involves approximately 174,800 units sold in the United States and about 5,300 units sold in Canada. The affected products include Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, and Frigidaire Professional Gas Ranges within the serial number range of VF52200000 through VF54399999.

- GCFG3060BD, GCFG3060BF, GCFG3070BF
- GCRG3060BD, GCRG3060BF
- PCFG3080AF
- FCFG3062AB, FCFG3062AS, FCFG3062AW
- FCRG3051BB, FCRG3051BS, FCRG3051BW
- FCRG3052BB, FCRG3052BS, FCRG3052BW
- FCRG3062AB, FCRG3062AS, FCRG3062AW
- FCRG306LAF, GCFG3059BF
The model and serial numbers are printed on a nameplate located in the drawer beneath the oven. These units were sold at Lowe’s, The Home Depot, and other retail stores nationwide and online at Frigidaire.com from June 2025 through January 2026 for between $630 and $2,700.
What You Should Do
Consumers should immediately stop using the ovens in the recalled ranges and contact Electrolux Group to schedule a free repair. The company will provide professional in-home installation of a new bake burner at no cost. Consumers may continue to use the cooktop burners on the range, as the hazard is limited to the oven’s bake burner.
