Wagner Spray Tech Recalls 700,000 900 Series Power Steamers Due to Burn Hazard
Wagner Spray Tech has recalled approximately 700,000 power steamers following reports of over 50 burn injuries caused by excessively hot hoses and unexpected hot water expulsion.
What Happened
Wagner Spray Tech is recalling its 900 Series power steamers because the attached hose can become excessively hot and the nozzle/gun can expel hot water during or after use. The company has received 156 reports of these incidents, including more than 50 reports of first- or second-degree burns to consumers’ faces, arms, hands, and feet.
Which Products Are Affected
The recall includes Wagner 900 Series power steamers, specifically models 905e Auto Steamer, 915e On-Demand Power Steamer, and 925e Steam Machine Elite Steamer. These units feature a yellow and black pressurized boiler base with “Wagner” printed on the sides. Approximately 700,000 units were sold in the United States, with an additional 8,000 sold in Canada. The products were sold at major retailers including The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart, Target, HSN, QVC, and online at Amazon.com and wagnerspraytech.com between November 2018 and March 2026 for between $130 and $200.
