What Happened

Daimler Trucks North America, LLC (DTNA) has issued a recall for specific Thomas Built Buses models due to a defect in the engine cooling system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), heater hose clamps on these vehicles may not have been tightened properly during assembly. This failure can cause the hose to disconnect, leading to the leakage of hot heating coolant into the passenger compartment.

• Thomas Built Buses Saf-T-Liner EFX: Model years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
