Vanleigh RV Recalls 2022-2023 Ambition Trailers Over Ramp Door Failure Risk
VLRV, LLC is recalling approximately 182 Vanleigh Ambition trailers because the ramp door may break away during use, posing an injury risk.

VLRV, LLC (Vanleigh RV) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Ambition trailers due to a structural defect. According to the manufacturer, the ramp door on these units may break away from the door frame while vehicles are being loaded or unloaded.

What You Should Do
Owners of the affected trailers are advised to contact Vanleigh RV customer service at 1-662-612-4040. To remedy the issue, dealers will install additional support brackets free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by March 20, 2026. Owners may refer to Vanleigh RV’s internal recall number, which is VL-106.
Why This Matters
A ramp door that breaks or fails during use increases the risk of injury to individuals who are in the process of loading or unloading vehicles from the trailer.
