What Happened

Volvo Car USA, LLC (Volvo Car) has issued a recall for certain 2025-2026 EX30 and 2026 EX30CC vehicles. The seat belt warning system in these vehicles may not activate the audible warning chime as intended. This defect results in the vehicles failing to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.”
